So? They could have played the Fiesta Bowl on Mars and OSU still would have won by two td's. As it was OSU left 13 points on the field. I just joshing ya RL. I am getting tired of the whole USC is the best team ever nonsense on TV. I get the feeling that they are in for a real dogfight on Wednesday except Texas is much better than Fresno State, Arizona State and Notre Dame. If USC doesn't bring their A game....

As a lifelong fan of both ND and Ohio State, I can honestly say I was not surprised. I knew the OSU defense would stifle Brady Quinn, and running was going to be tough sledding.

But dayum, Troy Smith just lit the place up. Of course Ted Ginn Jr. and Santonio Holmes (who just declared for the 2006 Draft) can make a guy look good.

With Weis' offense, they really need the WR screen and the RB screen to work in order to be successful. OSU took both of those away.

Ted Ginn Jr. will be in the running for the Heisman next year, as will Troy Smith and Brady Quinn.

I am disappointed in the Notre Dame performance, but it's not like they didn't make a game of it for awhile in the second half.

GO TEXAS!
