SNOW DAY!!!
No School today around Ft. Lewis. A "MASSIVE SNOWSTORM PARALYZED the region<KIRO 7 reported this morning> blanketing Pierce County with upto 4 inches of snow"
Needless to say...my daughter and I spent about 2 hours outside this morning frolicking and trouncing each other with obligatory snowballs.
It was a LOT of fun...

We hardly got any snow here in Federal Way, WA which is only about 25 miles or so from Ft. Lewis. The roads are clear and wet! Temp right now outside 37 degrees. I doubt that we got even a inch of snow! Of course, this is in King County. Living closer to Puget Sound helps in keeping the snow away too!

Nice! We have a picture of me and my son with a snowman that we built in our yard in Tacoma. Heavy snow was a rare occasion, and we took advantage of it. I was bummed that our snowman was but a pile only 24 hours later.

That snowman wasn't modeled after any of the members of this board was it?

Cool pic Eagle.
Snow days are lots of fun. We had one yesterday. There was probably 2 inches on the ground and my 1 year old got her first chance to play in the snow.
We made a snowman, but in an attempt to push him a little more upright, the base collapsed and he went the way of all snowmen.
It was sunny and warm today and his remains are the only snow left in the yard.
