TSO: Not just Christmas Music...

Went to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra on Saturday and thought I'd pass on my recommendation and a short review.

Overall, the show was great! The lights and pyrotechnics were awesome and the music was unique and powerful.

For those that don't know, TSO does a combination of traditional, and original Christmas Music, also some classical, all with electric guitars and pyrotechnics!

There's some Gospel and soul thrown in for good measure too.

It really is an experience, though I will offer some caveats:

1. Don't go if you're epileptic. Some of the flashing light displays got pretty intense.

2. The first half consists of a formal Christmas presentation with a storyline and everything. It starts off good, but gets really slow towards the end. Get through it though, because after that, the rest is awesome.

That's about it. Don't want to ruin the rest.

P.S. This is my first TSO concert and I will definitely be going next year.
