BMT..........you may have scooped everyone. I haven't seen this reported anywhere else.

Maybe, just maybe his threat against the King was his undoing (if true).

HI
This has been on various news sites for several hours, but none of the major sites, CNN, FOX etc.
Have a look at Debka.com, they seem to add tidbits every now and then.
Also :
http://newsnow.co.uk/newsfeed/?search=zarqawi&x=0&y=0
Refreshes every five minutes.
Let's hope for the best!
My conspiring mind however cannot seem to put aside the co-incidence that few hours prior to these reports, his own clan in Jordan had disowned him. Not sure if how, in anyway this links up,but still a great co-incidence.
Anyway, let's hope the drek is dead, and suffered a great deal before plummeting to the depths of hell.

If this is true, the whole thing could be changing !!! I think that the combination of HUMINT and the rapidly growing Database and NETCINTRICITY of the UAVs, and other Platforms, is starting to take it's toll on them !!!

Insurgents deliberately targeting civilians without a good reason has rarely paid off.
We have taken a toll on the BGs. If the civilians turn against them and help us, the foreign insurgents are finished, but lets not break out the champagne just yet.
Our elected officials and the media still have time to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Damn, but I hope this is true. Hope the rat bastard bled out slow, too.
Gotta say I'm awful skeptical though, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
What's the proper libation to toast the SOB's demise, I wonder?

This is such a shame, he was a great man...
Nah, I can't say that with a straight face. I'm going to have a scotch to celebrate.

Might have to delay the party. White House is stating that it is unlikely it was our boy. This information was found on the Drudge Report.
