Mom Died This Morning

My mother, Donna Foster, died at about 0800 this morning after stuggling with pancreatic cancer and dementia for many months. She passed away peacefully in our home surrounded by loved ones, in a room with a view of her beloved garden and a Vermont hillside.

It was, as such things go, an easy death. She, and we, were spared the agony that often accompanies pancreatic cancer.

There have been many here who have supported and comforted me as Mom's illness progressed. I want to thank you all personally, but am afraid that in my grief I might neglect or omit someone and so post here, as well.

Many thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
