Don Parcells

I lost a friend, the best man at my wedding, a fellow high school football team mate, a veteran, and a former brother-in-law. He passed away from brain cancer 2330 yesterday.

Jack Moroney-wishing I could open up just one more hole for him so he could get a few more yards downfield.

I am sorry, Sir. I calmly believe that his soul will come to rest in heaven.

There's a place where we'll all find a home, for we will be everywhere. He'll be with you forever, for he is walking at eternity's edge. And I suppose, that he's happy that you're still with us.

My grandfather peacefully passed away a few days ago. He loved God, so I think he appreciates his new surroundings.

I tend to feel grateful for the sake of those passing away. Although they cared for life and we think highly of them, they'll now know this life intimately. For what is more, they know the deepest feelings of compassion that we hold towards them.

In honoring their, our, memory, which binds us together, that memory will once again come true. We'll all meet again - let's depart, for a while, as Friends. When the time arrives at each of our's doorstep, it will be in the merging of the past and the future, to give guidance to those still alive. A start anew, perhaps.
