All kudos both to the police involved and the citizens who originally reported the suspicious activity.

I don't know that I would be that suspicious, living in Sydney you see too many tourists filming everything that moves to think about it, so well done for both those people's observational skills, and having the guts to report it.

The Australian media has been reporting on the radical cleric arrested for some time now, for his scaremongering, jihad-raising etc behaviour. I doubt it will shock many Australians that he is involved, and I think everyone knew he would be, they just needed the proof.

On a side issue, one of the suspects shot at police, slightly wounding one, and his colleague returned fire, shooting the BG in the neck. Would you believe the latest headline says "Police Defend Shooting Suspect"? It sometimes boggles the mind what slant the media puts on reports.

Seems to me the headline is labeling the police officer who returned fire as the "shooting suspect". Freakin Idiots.
