The Trial of Sadahm
Well, it started today but is already on hold for a month. There were two conflicting reports on FXN: 1. the witnesses were afraid to show and 2. the defense wanted the time to examine evidence and the witness list. The truth is probably a combination of the two.
Sadahm is a shrewed and very intelligent man. Sometimes I wonder just how much in control of the terrorists he is. Let's hope the prosecution are up to the challenge and not let Sadahm make asses out of them.

This weeks Time magazine has an interesting interview with an insurgent who tells of early in the war when Saddam was very much influencing the insurgency from his hideouts. While I am sure it is more difficult for him to do so now I still believe he is able to exert some control over it.

Not to be a spelling Nazi or anything, but "shrewd" is the adjective you want for Saddam. "Shrewed" is an adjective you would use to describe FS's BF.

OK, now I get it. Is shrewd the proper word?
Hows about dis: "He ain't no f***ing dummy"
I am glad TS finished with his last sentence.
Sadahm will be beaten when he is dead. Even then he will be a folk hero to some unless he can be exposed for the monster he really is. I put him more in the class as Stalin. From day one I predicted much of what is going on today due to our rush to Baghdad. It was basically stay behind tactics that defeated the Nazis on the Eastern Front.

I saw an Iraqi on the BBC-W this morning who said that death was too good for Saddam. I missed the rest of what he said, though.
Maybe a public beating- dollar a punch, two dollars for the gonads.

ROFL!
However, would not SHREWED also be considered a verb in referencing FS's imaginary friend?
