Off to Gitmo for him and a year or two of interrogations.
Then 30 years in the darkest hole we can find.

My favorite was the last line of the article:

The company reported Maawad to authorities when he didn't pay for $2,500 of merchandise it had delivered, Gulczynski said.

They only reported a Mahmoud Maawad ordering $3k worth of materials after he didn't pay his tab...

No joy, probably be picked up by Pakistani security and dropped off at a madrassa to start teaching within 48 hours.

That's what I noticed too. Maybe companies will start to take notice when an excess of airline familiarization materials are bought by the same name, account, or sent to the same address.

You'd think they would have started that after 9/11.
Either way, we can be glad they caught this guy at least.

Aviation School
Had an ex Warrant who was A pilot Instructor in his off time. The Schools in Florida where most of the 9-11 Terrorist trained...... It was common practice for People of Middle Eastern decent to show up with bags of cash to learn to fly. Mostly Pilots of an rich Saudi prince wanting to up grade their own Pilots for their new Plane. Hope this practice isn't going on anymore. But pre 9-11 it was routine.

Anyone purchasing a DVD on how to "look and act like an airline pilot" or "Airplane Talk" and the like should be checked out. Forget the unpaid credit card bills. Perhaps the whole scenerio is a little cheese for the mouse and the media is fed that story. On one end, I believe our government has vice grips on security. On the other, there are some lunatics in every corner. Its like they're shot up with crazy juice. Why can't the western world give these nutters hope once they've experienced it?
