S&W 625-2??

I am in the market for a revolver. Partly for gee-whiz factor, partly to maintain some level of proficiency with one. I have always felt the 4" barrels too short and the 6" too long. The S&W 625-2 comes with a 5" barrel and is in my favorite caliber (45ACP).

What I am wondering is if anyone here has experience with them? Any problems with the weapon, or the moon clips? This won't be a regular carry sidearm, but if buying a handgun (other than .22s) I want it to be able to serve in that capacity if required.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The 625 is by far the most popular gun amongst the IDPA/IPSC revolver crowd. I have some limited experience with the gun but not enough to render an educated opinion.
