Good news that knife is a model we call "Green Beret" and not a Yarborough.
I've seen several "GB's" on e-bay, some for less than we can sell 'em.
Good price, someone should snag it.

Keep looking, there is an interesting and active collectors aftermarket in these knives.
If anyone see's a knife marked Yarborough on ebay or for sale anywhere, please advise us here immediately.

Negative. This is the "Civilian" model named The Green Beret Knife. The Yarborough is serialized and has the name YARBOROUGH on the left side of the blade.

That is almost the correct knife. The seller has mistakenly used the name Yarborough for the model we call the "Green Beret". According to the rules (law carved in granite from our point of view) set in place by the United States Army Special Operations Command, the only individuals who can receive or purchase the knife marked "Yarborough" are current or legacy members of United States Army Special Forces.
By these same rules or law, we can produce and sell the same knife on the open market without the markings unique to Army Special Forces.
For any Army Special Forces Soldiers who are not familiar with this project and may be reading this for the first time, pm me here and I can explain the reasons further. There are rock solid reasons for this agreement.
Thank you Maisy.

Thank you.
Thank you for the explanation Mr Harsey, Team Sergeant and Ambush Master..
As you can see, my knowledge about knives could be carved on the head of a pin, but I am slowly moving up to two pins reading this forum.
