Gerber LMF II
Has anyone had any practical experience with this knife? I am looking at buying one for a spot of hunting and for when I'm out in the bush.
I've read some thoughts on other forums but it's more of the "I've just got this" type posts.
Any help appreciated.

I've seen and handled the knife.
The blade grind and geometry may be too thick to be satisfactory as a hunting/game tool.
It's primary design is as an affordable hard use military knife.

Don't screw around get a Harsey T-2 AND a Yarborough.
That should settle your needs for the next 20 years or longer.

I have had that knife for the last 5 months using it over here, and it is a decent knife. Great sheath and good balanced blade. The blade material is a little softer than I prefer, but it is good to beat the hell out of. Love the hammer at the end.

While it would be an honour to pass all the needed steps and serve in US SF, I could never see myself fighting for another country, with the possible except of the UK.
My budget doesn't extend to the price of a T2/Civvie Yarborough right now, so I might have to put off a knife buy and save for a really decent one.

I'd bet that it's either the same or very close to the T-2 or Sebenza, they're all S30V.
