Lieberman voted Nay, wonder how many of his constituents Colt employs. Better to follow the party line than help the people you represent, eh Senator?

Why not?

Last time, they killed it with a bunch of riders, including one particularly odious one.

They are already adding them to this one.

We will see who our friends are now.

I recently discovered that Bushmaster paid out $2,500,000 to the victims of the DC snipers. It was sold through legal commerce. How are they liable for the misdeeds of two scumbags?

Lieberman isn't the only politiciian to sell out his gun manufacturing constituints.
Way to go MA... will someone just hurry up and kill Ted already, they got the rest of his family. You'd think he'd be the easiest one to kill. Fat drunk slob...
Man I'm glad I moved out of that state.

The truly sad part is that all of the media outlets, to include Fox, are portraying this as some kind of political favor unjustifiably letting the firearms manufacturers off the hook.

IMHO, the same sort of liability suits could be brought against the manufacturers of any mechanical devices for potential misuse beyond the manufacturer's control.

By extension of that logic, it would appear that the maker of a vehicle used in an armed robbery that runs over an innocent person could be brought to trial in a civil suit.

This is being spun by the media big time.
