OK, since there is no news to discuss today . . .

Who will play in the Super Bowl next season, and who will win that game?

Which NFL team improved itself most in the offseason and why?

Packers. No doubt about it.

I know, I'll wake up from my dream.

Philly is going to be hard to beat in the NFC - before T.O. is dumped after this season. I don't think Vick's Falcons can overtake them this year. Barring injuries, I think Indy gets over the Pats this year, although I would not be surprised to see Kansas City rise to the top. Or Minnesota in the NFC.

Philly over Indy.

The Browns - addition by subtraction. O-line overhauled. 3-4 defense. Good coach-GM signings.

Kansas City has done some nice things to their defense.

Minnesota should be tougher simply because they can play as a team now. Culpepper is the true leader, but they need a RB.

If Pittsburgh can utilize that stud TE they drafted they should be even tougher, but I am not a Big Ben fan yet. He will stumble a bit this year.

Of those 4 teams I think Cleveland will see the most improvement, if only because they one 7 frickin games in 2 years. They have nowhere to go but up.

Dave,
Mars is an interesting planet I'm sure but why don't you and the rest of Packer nation come home to Earth? Your going to be surprised by the Bears this season.

Philly will return if they can solve the TO mess. If not they will lose to the Vikings in the NFC championship. Andy Ried just does not understand that no matter how good your "system" is you still need quality players at skill positions.

I don't see anyone unseating the Pats. They are solid and well coached although there are now a few holes in that area. Indy won't make it if they have to play outdoors. Pittsburgh will not have the luck they had against the Jets again. Pats over Chiefs in the AFC championship.

Another Patriot super bowl win (as much as it PAINS me to admit that).

No, I do. I was joking about a verdict in my home state.

Burress out...the Steelers can recognize and pay Hines Ward for the outstanding player he is. Ward is a great role model and one of those players that is a Quiet" Professional Football player.

It was nice to see the Steelers pickup a nice TE addition.

Keep the improving the new steel curtain and we should be in for a good season.

The Steelers wasn't be the most improved off-season team, but I think they will improve on where they left off last year and be in the big show this season.

To answer your second question...I don't follow all the teams enough to know who improved the most off-season.

In response to an above post, I know I'm on Mars when I say that I just want nothing more, than for them to beat the Vikings each time they play them. I want Brett to have a good, final season (I'm sure this is his last).

And even though hes no longer a part of the Vikings, I wish broken legs to Randy Moss.

Still have a hard time getting into the Cardinals...although I really really do want to see them do well.

The Packers are on the decline. They won't be above .500 this year IMO. Even with Favre, who I like a lot.

Superbowl pick?

Minnesota over Indy

The Ravens.

Picked up Samari Rolle to replace Gary Baxter on their stud defence. Also picked up Derrick Mason (never to be under-estimated) at reciever, and drafted solid Mark Clayton from Oklahoma who could make an impact on special teams.

However I don't see them getting over the hump unless Kyle Boller gets his shit squared away.

Detroit baffles me with their third straight 1st round WR pick. Drafting good WR's doesn't solve your QB problems. It's kind of like pumping blood into a dead body.

Ward is an unbelievable player with great drive.

However there could be a draw back to Burress leaving. Burress was normally double teamed, which allowed Ward to roam freely in secondary's. Now Ward will be routinely double teamed, which means guys like Cedrick Wilson and Antwan Randel El need to step it up.

Their TE grab in the first round of the draft was nice. They need to utilise him in the passing game as much as possible.

Unfortunately their recieving corps resembles the lolly-pop guild with 6 foot 5 Burress no longer with the team lol

Defense was first in the NFL last year overall, 1st against the run and 2nd against the pass. Big Ben's mistakes in the playoffs are the only thing holding us back now.

I would not write off Joey Harrington just yet. Detroit will surprise people, IMO.

Detroit being over .500 would "surprise" a lot of people.

GO Lions, and take the Pistons with you!

I predict they will be 10-6 and lose in the first round.
