30 hornets vs 30,000 bees

http://www.bitchesgetstitches.com/archives/002591.html

Really cool video. Shows an assault by 30 hornets on 30,000 bees. It's a complete slaughter, reminds me a lot of Starship Troopers.

Gotta love mother nature. These guys have discovered a tactic to deal with the scout thus preventing the attack.

Gives me Flashbacks!

I met one of those Asian giant hornets for the first time over here. Was at the range and one flew out of a rafter above us. Quite possibly the scariest thing I have EVER encountered in nature. You can not appreciate how big those things really are until you see one in person. It’s like a hummingbird, except it has a stinger like a nail. Those with me thought it was some freak of nature until we looked them up. I never knew until that point that hornets could get that big! I really never hope to get stung by one!

Nature

Just goes to show life - and death - is not fair in nature.

But if you can take out the scout you stand a chance.
