We flew out on the 25th. I don't remember much, but I remember the tears on that flight out of Tan Son Nhut. We were lucky.

Thank you very much for the men & women that served in Vietnam (millions are free because of you). My father & I escaped with clothes on our backs as Saigon fell. I have not seen my mother since then, but that is another story.

I am truly grateful for your sacrifices & one of the main reasons why I enlisted in the Army back in 1988 was to repay that debt & hopefully have an opportunity to give other people the chance to know what freedom is.
