What's the Chinese word for "bling"?

The two I can ID are Vice Marshal Cho Myong-rok, Director of the General Political Department of the Korea Peoples' Army, and Vice Marshal Kim Yong-chun, a Member of the National Defense Commission and Chief of the General Staff of the Korea Peoples' Army.

Let us also review the fact that there have been no wars that they have participated in, other than the Korean stalemate.

All essentially peacetime awards.

Wow! Are they in the NK Air Force?

I guess the western culture still hasn't caught on. Forks, spoons, and oak leaf clusters. And some of us soldiers bitch that our clothing allowance isn't adequate enough to put what shiny shit we've earned on.

I guess some have it worse.

All of the pictured officers are veterans of the Korean War, and I believe also veterans of World War Two. Vice Marshal Cho was born in 1924 and Vice Marshal Kim in 1922, and the other three don't exactly look like spring chickens.

Still, most are post-Korean War awards. For example, the top two breast stars on Vice Marshal Kim, below his Gold Star Medal of the Hero of the Republic, are Orders of Kim Il Sung, which was established in 1972.
