Very impressive.....

What did he weight and did you have the rack scored? Rifle/bow/blackpowder?

I need to get up to our land up in TN and scout one of those out for the wall.

Sac,
He was about 180lbs and with 13 points. I haven't had him scored, but everyone keeps telling me to have it done. I took him on opening day of bow/rifle/blackpowder season. In TN you have bow season, then a week of blackpowder and then it's whatever you want to use season. I had both a blackpowder and long gun with me that day. I saw him bout 600m and started grunting, he headed in the treeline and came out about 1.5 hrs later. I saw the grass hanging off the rack through the binos and reached for the long gun. Nailed him on a fast walk at 80yds.

It was the peak of the rut, he was following four does and you can guess what he was looking for when he died. A lesson for us all.

Den Mother,
He was a FOG so I had him made into burger and summer sausage. I like to shoot the young tender ones for steaks and roasts. Bambi falls within the ROE.
