hell, i was one for 13 months and i'm not sure what one does...basically a GLO is an Army officer attached to an Air Force unit for the purpose of liaison...most AF units that provide support for airborne operations or close air support have a GLO hanging around to provide adult supervision and keep the bar from becoming overstocked...
