You know the old adage, "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all."

I don't do this every day. Or any day. I have never taken a deposition and have only read one on one or two occasions. I am not a litigator; I am a deal lawyer.

I write things like this:
Quote:
If the Investment Manager shall resign, be removed or become incapable of acting, Client, shall, with the consent of Insurer, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed, promptly appoint a successor Investment Advisor (a "Successor Investment Advisor"). Notwithstanding any contrary provisions of subsection 20(a) above, the parties hereto agree that Investment Advisor shall continue to serve as Investment Advisor until the appointment of the Successor Investment Advisor and the acceptance of such appointment by the Successor Investment Advisor.
Then I take a couple of motrins.

AL:

It is the inherent propensity for recurring problems which arise subsequent to implementation of regulatory requirements, limiting litigators to compensation based upon their repeated, and unregulated screwing of the public at large.

I am not an Attorney, but I have on occasion consumed alcoholic beverages with a few.
