Claspian

Just finished up my Claspian. A Glock 23 with a Caspian slide and KKM match grade hybrid barrel. 3.5 disconenctor. It shoots like a 22 just push back into the hand. I have not fired it at night but day time was fine. The sights are MMC low profile adjustables.

Not to steal Denny's thunder but he posted a couple pictures on SOCNET. An interesting gun but I am sure that it is no fun to shoot indoors, at night or from close retention. Looks like it would be fun to play with though.

Is that a Schuman-Nozzle Comp ??? I saw/shot one a few times, that belonged to a DEA Agent a few years ago, and it was really sweet. This weapon belonged to the same person that Air.177 referenced in another thread that had fired Glocks in a swimming pool. It looked like a "steam Locomotive" when it was fired. Would like to hear how the night-fire question works out !!!

My boss has the Glock 17C and that thing looks like a friggin dragon shooting snot flames at night. After the first round you won't be able to acquire your front sight for a couple of minutes.

Be real carfeful if you shoot that thing close to your body. Such as off the top of your hoslter. You could (no shit) lose an eye from the carbon and powder burn.

Comp's on guns are wonderful for "Game" use.

Not a smart idea in a real tactical situations.

As Joe is stating, a comp gun can be a very dangerous tool in the hands of an unweary user. Be very careful when "stacking" on a door with a partner that sporting a "Comp" gun.

Game gun

I built this with the intention of shooting this in IPSC LImited 10. I have been to a few armorer schools and thought this would be neat. Night shooting would be a bear. The weapon serves no tactical purpose except recoil. I could in about 10 seconds convert it back to stock still have parts.
In addition I had the lead increased in the barrel to accept a bullet loaded to an overall length of 1.135 with a 200 grain TC bullet and 4.2 grains of ww231.
I shoot a Glock because it is the same as my duty weapon (trigger pull etc)
