This Day in Terrorism
The first recorded skyjacking of an airplane took place on Feb. 21, 1931 at the city of Arequipa, Peru when a group of rebel soldiers in Peru forced two American pilots to fly them about and drop propaganda leaflets over Lima. The pilots refused and the rebels ended their seizure on March 2, without any damages to the plane.

That can't possibly be the first.
BTW, "damages" refers to money ordered paid as compensation. "Damage" is when something gets harmed.

Maybe in lawyer talk. In Green Hat talk it means more than one damage.
Did I piss in your Cheerios this morning or has the ABA as represented by you and AL declared jihad on my writing ability for some reason? If so, please issue a fatwa so I'll know.

LOL.
Hey now, saying that AL and I represent the ABA is like me saying that you represent Stan Goff and Keith Idema. Although I will concede that with lawyers the 10% rule operates in reverse (i.e., it's the 90% rule).

I'll bet what's got him so uptight, is because of all the rain they're getting in L.A., he had to use his scuba gear to get to work this morning and because he needs help with his dive tables, he's stuck at work.

Maybe this is what RL thought was the first:
I remember an episode of Dave Allen at Large that I saw many, many years (23 perhaps) ago that had a Daedelus/Icarus/Davinci kind of guy running through a field, flapping his arms to which were attached giant bird-like wings, and this guy comes running out of the bushes, puts a pistol to the wannabe-birdman's head and declares "Take me to Cuba!".
