Anyone remember MSG William L Smeltzer?

I know it's a long shot, but I am hoping to find anyone who served with my dad, MSG William L. Smeltzer. He was SF for 27 years (1962-1989), MACSOG CCN and Project OMEGA in Vietnam, stationed at Ft. Bragg, HQ USAEUR in Baden Baden, Huntington Beach (as recruiter), Ft. Devens, Bad Toelz, and ROTC at St. Bonaventure University. He was with the 5th SF, then with the 10th.

Looking for anyone left who can share any stories. He passed away in 1992, when I was 17, so I never got a chance to really talk to him and create a record of what he did. I really want to preserve anything I can before it's too late. He never spoke much about the war or his service in general, just that he did his job to the best of his ability. We only have a few stories and personal anecdotes left. So, if anyone remembers him, please share with me.

Thanks!
