SOCOM/JSOC CDR Quote on Killing Terrorists

I think I remember a quote a few years back from either the SOCOM, JSOC, or USASOC Commander about how SOF killed 50,000+ terrorists in the GWOT but that hadn't eliminated the organizations. I've tried several search engines and AIs to find the quote, but I've been unsuccessful. Does anyone out there remember the quote and who said it?

June 2016 : Cia Director Brennan " Despite all of our progress against (ISIS) on the battlefield and in the financial realm, our efforts have not reduced the groups terrorism capability and global reach"

CNN reported in Dec 2016 that a U.S. official claimed 50,000 militants since 2014.

A week later (Dec 13) Special envoy Brett McGurk said there were 12,000-15,000 battle ready fighters left.

In 2017 General Thomas ( Aspen security forum) Stated that the military had killed over 60,000 ISIS fighters. But said even with the success the force needed to put pressure on the enemy forces.
