How is your weather

-16 here in Eastern Iowa with 20" of snow on the ground, wind has finally quit blowing. The snow fence did it's job.

In NE Kansas/NW Missouri -12 this morning, currently -2, 3-8 inches of snow depending on where you live. Despite what the climate alarmists say, it's a typical winter for the area......I've stood on a corner waiting for a school bus in as bad or worse.

Some school districts are closed in the DFW area due to "wind chills." Apparently too cold for today's children to go out to wait for the school buses.

Remarked to the wife last night, "The little snowflakes apparently can't stand the cold."

I'm 25 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and it's 19 with a wind chill of 9. That's foreign territory for us down here!

Things have definitely changed. The rumor was that the only time school was closed for winter weather was if and when the school superintendent could not make it out of his driveway in his Grand Wagoneer.
