SMH
I had to look up what SMH meant, not being super Savey on the abbreviation's protocols on SM.
Your disapproval is what? The story, the Jag, the lack of awareness, What?
To be clear, so all understand the many posts on auctions that have been made, we, my wife and I look at regional auctions every day, there is huge of amounts of money to be made, if you have the informed worth of a system or an object, like the 2003 Jaguar, or for example, we purchased a Hobart dishwasher, brand new in the box at auction (Major Focus) for 1.6K, sold to the University of Rhode Island for 3899.00 this week.
We purchased the Jag from allsurplus.com, an online Gov’t source for under 6K, we listed the car the same day on ebay for 8k and have 3 deep bids, with one local NJ dentist stopping by Saturday. Since integrity is paramount, we sent the car with 54K miles to Cherryhill land rover Jaguar for its 60K service, which we do not have to do, because the car is in pristine condition, with no real miles over the last 20 years, but for us, it is the right thing to do. Because this transaction is not just about money, its about preservation.
Tonight, we were in a local auction and won Lot# DESCRIPTION NEW SAMMIC 30 GALLON TANK & CIRCULATOR HEAD 1 x 1,100.00 = $1,100.00
ORIGINAL COST $6,000 COMBINED
We will ebay this unit this week.
The intention here has always been to example a way to make money. A path if you will, for my fellow veterans, auctions with limited informed capital can make a solid primary or secondary income, if focused on specific knowledge and market awareness.
YMMV
