Critical Thinking Skills

We recently won an auction for 2003 Jag Type S 4.2. V8, it's due for the 60K service. I blew out the R/meniscus getting out of it. It was an omen.
Today, the MRI was scheduled as was the appointment at Cherry Hill LR/Jaguar. Call AAA to deliver the car. All info pass and checked.
Go to MRI - 2 hrs later home again. Call the dealership to ask about delivery speak to service rep, NADA, No car, it's 39 miles door to door.
Call AAA, they state the car was delivered to 2000 Rt 38 Cherry hill, NJ. LR/Jag address is 2000 Rt 70, pull up a map on google. 2000 Rt 38 is the Parking lot for the Cherry Hill Mall.
We can understand the confusion with the address, being so similar, but at what point did the driver surmise that the Jaguar he was about to drop in a mall parking lot was GTG. An easy look up on any cell would be nearest Jaguar dealership.
When we finally spoke the the towing company that AAA hired, I asked owner if this incident was drug related, as it the only math that works for me.

SMH

I had to look up what SMH meant, not being super Savey on the abbreviation's protocols on SM.

Your disapproval is what? The story, the Jag, the lack of awareness, What?

To be clear, so all understand the many posts on auctions that have been made, we, my wife and I look at regional auctions every day, there is huge of amounts of money to be made, if you have the informed worth of a system or an object, like the 2003 Jaguar, or for example, we purchased a Hobart dishwasher, brand new in the box at auction (Major Focus) for 1.6K, sold to the University of Rhode Island for 3899.00 this week.

We purchased the Jag from allsurplus.com, an online Gov’t source for under 6K, we listed the car the same day on ebay for 8k and have 3 deep bids, with one local NJ dentist stopping by Saturday. Since integrity is paramount, we sent the car with 54K miles to Cherryhill land rover Jaguar for its 60K service, which we do not have to do, because the car is in pristine condition, with no real miles over the last 20 years, but for us, it is the right thing to do. Because this transaction is not just about money, its about preservation.

Tonight, we were in a local auction and won Lot# DESCRIPTION NEW SAMMIC 30 GALLON TANK & CIRCULATOR HEAD 1 x 1,100.00 = $1,100.00

ORIGINAL COST $6,000 COMBINED

We will ebay this unit this week.

The intention here has always been to example a way to make money. A path if you will, for my fellow veterans, auctions with limited informed capital can make a solid primary or secondary income, if focused on specific knowledge and market awareness.

YMMV

SMH at the lack of critical thinking skills epidemic.

The delivery driver primarily...

and to be honest, anyone who would buy a maintenance whore like a Jag...

In light of additional information - good on you!
