PM limit

What are the maximum number of PMs that we can keep in our account?

Right now it's set to fifty, and will soon be set to 20. You can however archive your PM's and save them all!

I'm assuming (from reading the FAQs, and because my box is still considered to be full) that moving my pms to files is not archiving them.

How do I archive my pms?

Go to your PM screen, go to "PM Folders" make a folder, and place your PM's in the folder, save folder and PM's are then archived.

Make sure you move or delete "Sent" as well, those appear to take up a lot of space too.

Okey, dokey. I've moved everything out of my INBOX and SENT folders, but my PM count is the same.

From the FAQ:
Quote:
You will need to periodically delete old messages, as the administrator has probably set a limit to the number of private messages you can have in your folders. If you exceed the number of messages specified by the administrator, you will not be able to send or receive new messages until you delete some old messages.
Maybe I'm not understanding the above (which would be no surprise to me), but I think I'm still over the limit.
