The DA just let this guy out on a very low bail. I also suspect the DA will try to let him walk with some very diminished plea deal.

Speculation: There are a couple of remarks that may imply that the kid's family and Brandt have prior knowledge of each other. Maybe a feud?
The Kid's family should be hunting for the best ambulance chaser for a post-plea deal battle..
We need Marge Gunderson working on this case, before it snows..

I'm reminded of an incident that occurred in 1984. Father shot and killed the man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted his son, on camera. Got 5 years probation.
