I will not get on the Train..
In the last few days, I have read of verified Progressive Congress Critters and their MSM lackeys that really scare the shit out of me.

JJ, all will be fine. There will come a point when enough folks are in the same boat and the pendulum will swing. The early stage of this will seem like folks are alone until more and more citizens are added. I do not like it but that is how I see it. A book that had some good points for me was and is, "Freedom Outlaw", it showed some pointers that were and are very useful. Like everything I kept the good and discarded what I did not need.
Take care! Respectfully,
Bob

I have been reading this as well. It's a great divide and it is alarming. The more I read about it, the more I can see a group of like minded states breaking away and forming their own union.

I thought about this and at first glance seems like a reasonable alternative, until you have hostile foreign armies with permanent posts 20 miles from your house on the border and don't think for one second "That'll never happen".

There are volumes written on the success and failures of strategies. These have been used throughout human history. They do not need to be invented they already have been shown to be what they are. The one that you decide to employ will be dictated by your goal. At this time this noise from the media does not concern me in the least. People have isolated themselves with Covid and politics and therefore have magnified the message available. Get out talk to people and you will see just how much the message is exaggerated by your isolation. I am not saying that I like what is happening just keep your perspective with a larger picture. It has been said here that Americans have freedom in their DNA, I believe that.
Respectfully,
Bob

That is pretty much guaranteed, but there may be no other choice.

I have been out and about since the onset, have been in homes and visited with hundreds of people. There have only been 12-13 that required me to wear a mask, but the longer the isolation has gone on the more people have bought into the idea. More and more people are seen wearing masks while walking outdoors and when driving by themselves in their car.

Pre 1939 Germany, Poland and bits here and there sat patiently by watching the demise of their land, houses and jobs as the Nazi government slowly dismantled an entire ethnic group of people. I say that because they didn’t fight back until it was too late.
That’s the lesson we learned from that period.
Without saying very much, I will say that a military base is largely a symbolic symbol of American power that yields no danger to its local communities. Without the logistics to support a movement they are compounds of people and equipment behind a fence. Let that sink in for minute. And see if you have an AHAH moment.

ODNT, perfect! The same goes for all of the structures that people "bug out" of. On a more serious note I think the tip-off will be blue helmets since as has been said before this appears to more of a global scheme not a simple U S of A problem.

What I want to know, maybe many many more like me, is when is it time? The Jews waited to long to mount a successful resistance. I’ve run outside, and seen no one else out.
I reckon when they start federal confiscation of firearms is the time. If we wait until after, then we find ourselves in the same position as the 1939 Jews in Poland.
We need men like you and your brothers in arms to do what you were trained to do, be force multipliers.
I’m old and in shape, since round is still a shape according to my kindergarten teacher. I can’t do what y’all can, I don’t have the experience, never heard a shot fired in anger.
I apologize if I have said something that puts the membership in a jackpot. But is resisting tyranny illegal? I know talking about it openly is not wise, but it has to be talked about now.

I for one hope that resistance to tyranny is never illegal.
It is better to exercise our 1st amendment right in defense of freedom than our 2nd.
Pen vs sword and all. Like any weapon, be sure of your target and it unwise to fire into a crowd.

Or maybe you work on creating your own force multipliers. There are huge numbers of young people doing service jobs making minimum wage, divested from society and looking for guidance on how to better themselves. If they learn to better their lives they become invested. As I see it VOA does achieve goals, but as we have seen in other countries VOA is all for not if the population isn't invested.
There's a person in my hood that in their past life coordinated stuff for QP's and they did some contract work. They hire me because I remind them of their Loadmaster and I do good work. This person donated their time to a local crap hole school district to teach math to all the flunkies who everyone gave up on. By the end of the course everyone student but one passed with an A or B, the one student got a C.
The education system has absolutely failed these kids. It has essentially given them two path, college with the idea of an office job or no college and a choice between minimum wage or living off Uncle Scam.
This afternoon a couple 20 somethings at a place I was working started quizing me on how to start their own business. They were absolutely giddy that I would indulge them. I told them it was simple and their eyes lit up when I told them they could make $40-50 per driveway shoveling snow, or invest $400-600 in a snow blower and bring home $500-1000 in a single day. If I spend a couple hours with them and they achieve some success they will likely become producers and invested.
You can show 17 little girls what is attainable on a soccer field through effort and team work, and they become invested. Years later some get scholarships and one plays in the NCAA D1 womens championship.
It's great to have someone very capable in heavy lifting , but its all for not if the people they are doing the heavy lifting for are not themselves invested and willing to participate...I remember my Mom saying from time to time "I can't help you if you won't help yourself".

With all do respect, the time to build consensus pasted several years, if not a decade ago. Now, response is reactionary. If you have not cached, have no plan, haven't parley with your neighbors, and asses their position and level intention/commitment, you are behind the curve. Make no mistake, Beto statement is a core belief of the SDP, Biden has stated so. They know, without total control, they have not control. the 2A is target #1, as it leads to all glory and domination.

Resistance to tyranny is an obligation. Better men than me said that approaching 250 years ago.
