In a world full of overzealous and hostile political partisanship, I offer a brief respite using the beauty of art and literature and culture...
...albeit the beauty of art and literature and culture born in the mind of a bitter sarcastic partisan - but nonetheless - we all need a little poetry in our lives so I present for your entertainment, a brief collection of haiku - enjoy.

A great many wordsmiths did write before,
About the great problems they faced that day;
Today they're on TV and quite a bore,
Talking about their political hay.
They smoke, they toke, and say call me Maurice,
They wear pussy hats and show us their tits;
They rant, they rave, and defund their police,
Then are surprised when strong men call it quits.
Media whores with their appetites whet,
Revealed just to be Larry, Moe, and Shem;
Keyboards now still, Twitter censors now fret,
No more Trump Derangement Syndrome for them.
The table is set, the cards are on it,
Haiku now seen, I'll raise you one sonnet.

Added a title and changed the last two lines of my sonnet for Facebook.
Used your "Slo Jo and da Ho".
That bit is a masterstroke of branding.
