When that asshole Clinton visited RVN and declared publicly, on a dig in 1995, in order to "normalize relations" that "there were no remaining living POWs in SEA from the Vietnam Conflict" -it hurt our efforts tremendously. Not to mention the LAST JACKASS who was in office who lifted the arms embargo to this COMMUNIST COUNTRY. 
Even while I was the JTF-FA and JPAC SGN, after Clinton's "declaration" we would go on investigations to villages and the villagers would LITERALLY laugh at us after stating that they personally assisted in trafficking Americans through Indochina to both N. Korea and the former Soviet Union and telling us that we were stupid for "thinking like the West". "They are no longer here" -
The former administrations can wallow in Hell for all I care. May the ghosts of those who they cast aside for the almighty trade dollar haunt them and their families for an eternity.
