A reader asked me for a Special Forces quote. I’ve had a bastardization of an Ayn Rand quote as my official email signature line for years:
“The question is not who is going to let me. It is who is going to stop me.”
I think this supports the almost cliche maxim that SF are outside-the-box thinkers. But what does that really mean? After doing this a hot minute, I think it means we follow the rules just enough to change them.
