College Recruiting
Anybody follow this? SC just got a commitment from Patrick Turner, ranked as the #1 WR by rivals.com (6'5", 210, 4.5), to go with the #1 QB, #1 DE, #1 LB and #2 DB. Still not ranked in the top 5 teams, but that's only because SC is waiting for the most highly recruited guys to make their decisions. Should be another top 5 class, if not #1.
Can you say "DYNASTY"? LMAO!

What no one talks about is the fact that USC (Ca type) is a PVT school. So they can get the kids in school and keep them there. Unlike a State School where the politicans try and run the schools.
Good on USC.. I hope they can win again. I was very impressed with the QB and that he came back for his Sr yr. Says a lot about that program and even MORE for the SCHOOL...
RAT OUT!!!

National Signing Day is tomorrow. Lots of top-end kids waiting until the last minute so they can announce on TV. A couple are announcing today on ESPNews, including Jason Gwaltney, USC's only possible RB recruit.

RL....You have a great team to root for. I am sure there are old farts wearing USC sweaters with Triojan flags on their mail boxes.
But give me a fricking break, please!!!!!
Your team is not that good. You act like your team is the second coming of Notre Dame.
Sheesh!
BTW.......I still think Notre Dame's recruiting trip was more successful than yours. Plenty of teams are recruiting to beat USC. Remember that, bro. Your team has a huge bullseye, so your recruiting class doesn't mean jack.
LMAO......You crack me up how little you know about recruiting.

I'm sorry if this sounded salty, RL. My arrogant comments were only meant ti lllustrate both my hatred for USC and love of Charlie Weis.
USC had a fine recruiting year. Texas has had some great years also. Yes Pete C. is a reason to be excited, but I feel most USC fans are bandwagoning it.
ND fans are thick and thin, win or lose, never quit, diehard loyal supporters. USC has that also, but the bandwagon fans help. ND doesn't have that.
GO IRISH!

AH HA! A new season and already the ND folks are talking trash! NP Sigi, it will take Weiss a bit longer than one year to turn your boys around.
Oh and GO PSU!

It's a new season! Let us enjoy it before the cold reality of Big Ten football brings us back to Earth.
