Canada soft on killers of US Soldiers

He plead guilty to killing a U.S. Army Medic, we put him in Guantanamo, turned him over to the Canadians after 10 years, they turned him loose and now he is getting a $8.000,000.00 payoff. I hope President Trump puts Canada on the shit list over their handling of this turd. A special thanks to O for letting this killer of our soldiers out of Gitmo. The world is going nuts.

Canada to apologize and give $8m to youngest Guantanamo Bay prisoner who pleaded guilty to murdering US soldier in Afghanistan when he was 15

So basically, Canada just said that if you kill an American Army Medic, you get free healthcare and win Lotto.

I read a number of headlines that described this murdering son of a hardcore AQ leader as a "child soldier".

He was no soldier....he was an unlawful combatant not deserving of the same treatment as a recognised soldier required by the geneva convention.

He should have been tried for treason, easily convicted, and executed.

At a minimum he needs to be sterilised to prevent from spreading his family's history of cancer.

Yeah I was not going to bring this up until tomorrow out of respect for your Day of Independence. While I love my country, I am embarrassed to be a Canadian today.

Please understand this is the work of our Liberal government. Most Canadians are disgusted by the current situation so please do not damn all of us. I just hope Canada remembers this during our next election.

I know I will.

FWIW the wife of the fallen soldier has launched a 100 million dollar lawsuit against Omar Khadr. And while no amount of money will bring back her husband or satisfy the hell she has gone through, hopefully her lawyers can suck every dollar out of this POS.

In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or dehumanized.
