Port of Charleston, SC-Dirty Bomb Threat

Hopefully turns out to be a hoax. However, with hope not being a strategy, the last few hours in Charleston have been a bit tense. The USCG and FBI have been working on a reported threat of a dirty bomb aboard the Maersk Memphis. This is a 300 meter long container ship currently docked in Charleston. A one nautical mile safety zone has been established around the ship (not sure how that works on land).

All clear

Containers scanned, all clear. USGG public announcements follow in a series of Tweets. Note the last in which the original reporting individual has been detained.

Hoaxes can cripple the good guys. Imagine a hundred credible sounding/looking hoaxes a month, for months. How long before vigilance fatigue (yes, that's a thing) sets in?

Not only that, but it can also be a lesson in how we react/what our capabilities are for those that might want to actually attempt something like this.
