Request for assistance - organization link

Gents, I have a buddy in San Diego who's going to ride (his HD) across America in May to raise funds for vets. It's a personal thing with him, and although he's not expecting to make a million dollars, whatever he makes will go to a worthy charitable organization. He's asking to pledge a penny a mile - his trip should be around 3000 miles in total distance - maybe more.

What I need from one of you is the link to the site set up by the two soldiers who were gravely wounded in Iraq, came home to excruciating pain during their recovery at Walter Reed, and now they've set up a site to obtain funds for severely wounded returning soldiers/marines/airman/squids.. (sorry, couldn't help myself).

I've seen the two young lads on TV numerous times - the one who normally does all the speaking has severe wounds/scars to his face, but he has one helluva positive outlook on life - and no regrets that he got where he is in the way that he did.

My riding buddy thinks he wants to send whatever funds he can collect to the two lads mentioned above - but I'll be damned if I can find the link to their website.

Anyone remember seeing these gents and listening to them speak about their collection efforts? If so, do you have a clue as to what their website is?

Appreciate it if you can ping me with the link if you have it.

Thanks ahead of time.

I recall seeing a couple of soldiers on several talk shows. I believe they were associated with the Wounded Warrior Project. During one of the shows they talked about the backpack program. Here is a link to the WWP site:
