Me thinks this belongs in General Discussion..
If nothing else they probably don't have truth filters and the crazy sh!t they say may not be so crazy after all.
On the outside the lunatics (in MSM) are destroying the asylum.

Olbermann was actually my favorite local TV sports anchor in the mid-80s in L.A. He must have gotten some bad acid while there because he sure went bat-shit crazy after he left.

Who's Kieth Olbermann ?
You could not pay me to watch MSNBC or CNN. So I really don't have a clue who this idiot is......
As a trained analyst I'd consider both "news" outlets F-10's, or "useless sources". You'd be better off reading the National Enquirer.

Don't "diss" the National Enquirer like that! They saved us from John Edwards. (Even a blind hog finds the occasional acorn. )

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Bingo. Pulitzer worthy work on their part.

Let me tell you folks a few things about the National Enquirer, not only did they get a Pulitzer for dropping a dime on John Edwards...
They were the first news outlet to run a picture of OJ wearing his Bruno Magli's after he swore he had never owned a pair of Bruno Maglis
They ran a story about Jesse Jacksons out-of-wedlock illegitimate child that was so damaging that Jesse issued a statement confirming the story so he could get out in front of the scandal.
They busted Rush Limbaugh on his addiction to painkillers...
...which by the way shows that they go after both sides of the political spectrum
They outed "Dog the Bounty Hunter" on his racist phone calls - Dog admitted to it
They said in January 2009 that Michael Jackson would be dead in six months because of his drug addiction...
...MJ dropped dead from a drug overdose that June
They busted Tiger Woods
They had the same prediction on life expectancy with Steve Jobs.
They are the ones that helped break the murder case on Bill Cosby's son - no witnesses until the National Enquirer offered a reward for the story.
...BAM - case solved
Of course, none of these stories were as groundbreaking as when Weekly World News broke the story that Dick Cheney was a robot, but you can't be number one ALL of the time.
