Per Reddit

As best as I can check with internet sources this is completely true.
Very scary.

Another person who is more qualified than I to comment on security in elections. Voting machines are NOT secure

Good article and it makes sense, but........

Election security is now a national security issue; federal officials need to take the lead, and they need to do it quickly.

I would not trust federal officials as far as I can thrown them.

When I heard a week or two ago that the government was going to be a part of the election security issue because of "Russia" hacking us, I thought, how convenient that is for the "State".
Are we all that dumb that we can't see what's really happening? I really have never thought of myself as a "conspiracy theorist" type of person, but there are way to many things that point in the wrong direction.
Those of you who have been there know what the government is capable of. I remember in the mid '90's in an undisclosed country, working the night shift and sifting through documents for entertainment and finding the price sheet for what we were paying for on that deployment. My Chief and I had a long discussion about what a revelation it would make in the states if we gave that info to 60 Minutes (at that time I was dumb enough not to see how corrupt the media was).
We "True Americans" are being handed a bag of shit in this election! I think we all should be prepared for the outcome!

This was brought up in the conservative media a while back. Didn't get much press at the time, but contradicted the claims by Jeh Johnson that there was no threat of cybersecurity attacks against the election this year.

Why all the fuss all of a sudden? Why were his claims now contradictory?

Once again, another attempt by the federal government to insert itself into local matters. Complete control is the endstate and only true federalism can save us.

It is just more evidence of how out of control things have become.

Yes, definitely more evidence. I have always thought that anything digital can be manipulated, whether online or not. If there ever was an election that is going to be ripe with fraud, this is the one. Early reporting has already shown that "individuals" are committing election fraud (that's said without a full accountability of the machine issues in Texas).

I think everyone voting should verify every single step of the process to ensure they have done everything in their power make sure their vote was counted right.
