Oregon Tells Schools To Let Boys Play Girls’ Sports If They Want

8 years ago people would have said this would never happen......The Trojan Couch.

Quote:
Oregon’s state government released a set of guidelines for schools Thursday informing educators that students must be allowed to use whatever locker rooms they want and play on opposite-sex sports teams as long as they say it reflects their chosen gender identity.

Not only that, but if the student doesn’t want his or her parents to know, teachers don’t have to tell them.

The 15-page document makes Oregon one of just a handful of states to release detailed guidelines for how states should handle the topic of transgender students. In general, the guide tells teachers to adhere to the wishes of students when it comes to affirming their chosen gender identity.

“A student who says she is a girl and wishes to be regarded that way throughout the school day should be respected and treated like any other girl,” it says. “So too with a student who says he is a boy.” Students should be called by whatever name they wish (regardless of their legal name), and they have the right to use bathrooms and locker rooms of either sex in accordance with their wishes.

We -- as a nation -- are completely jumping the shark. I knew we were going down the tubes fast, but we are almost to the point of no return.

I'm only a girl at shower time.

I do have a problem with schools denying parents information wrt their children. I guess they think "we didn't make those."

My sister in law was the Athletic Director at a small university when all the Title IX stuff came on line. I asked her if I could try out for her school's girls softball team. Her reply was a curt, NO. I stopped believing in the Easter Bunny that day.

Politico: Obama Will Push Transgender, ‘Gender Identity,’ Rules on all K-12 Schools

I think I will start identifying as a dog.

Quote:
“The Obama administration is expected in coming weeks to aggressively reinforce its position that transgender student rights are fully protected under federal law,” according to Politico. “Multiple agencies are expected to be involved … the legal protections include providing transgender students with not just access to bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity but also affording them protections from bullying, harassment and sexual violence, and a right to privacy concerning their transgender status and transition,” Politico reports.

There's a plan. Start the maskirovka now & see how the collegiate draft shakes out.

If you were adventurous enough, we played with basketballs.

Pushball in the military was like H2H combat.

So were your targets underclassmen? Now after all these years I know that those seniors were only being adventurous.

And to think that back in the day my male friends and I use to dream about walking through the girls locker room.

Ain't America becoming an even greater country?
