His Spanish sucks though

I wonder if Trump's Bernie Sandersesque conspiracy ramblings last night about President Bush 9/11 and WMD swayed the good General at all?

Rubio and Cruz both came across as sharp and competent when they weren't playing the "Quien es mas macho?" game

It might be too late and he isn't as dynamic a speaker as Rubio/Cruz but of all the candidates in the election Jeb Bush to me more and more gives off the character and temperament we need in in a POTUS.

Don't count him out. He's a favorite of dems and rinos both.

I'm sure another Evangelical Conservative will do so much more to strengthen Ted's credentials with a group that he believes he is the chosen leader of.

Maybe he's just worried Trump will deport him after he takes office

I think Trump does this as a populist move to appeal to Middle America, whether or not Trump actually believes this I'm 50/50 on, but it wouldn't surprise me if he actually did.

I'm having more more emotional support for my boy Marco Rubio, I love the damn guy

Somewhat agree with you regarding Jeb, but I can also say the same with Kasich. I don't think much of Jeb's lack of wit though

RINOs all. No doubt the Republican establishment would be happy with any of them.

Just posted by GEN Boykin today:

Quote:
As you know, I have endorsed ‪#‎TedCruz‬ for ‪#‎president‬. Now that ‪#‎SuperTuesday‬ is over and the candidate field has been reduced to 4, I will explain my reasons. And let me be clear; I will support the ‪#‎Republican‬ nominee, which ever candidate that is. I happen to know ‪#‎Cruz‬ better than the others although I have spent time with all the candidates except John ‪#‎Kasich‬. Here are my reasons for supporting Cruz:

1. I know Cruz to be a sincere ‪#‎constitutionalist‬. He is a ‪#‎constitutional‬ authority and will help restore the American focus on constitutional fidelity.

2. Cruz is not liked by his ‪#‎senate‬ colleagues and that is a plus. How so? He is not liked because they cannot control him and he refuses to play by their rules. He is an ‪#‎independent‬ thinker who does what he promises his constituents regardless of the cost. He has a strong internal moral compass that influences his decisions and actions.

3. He is a committed ‪#‎Christian‬ and is unwavering in his faith and his christian values.

4.The next ‪#‎POTUS‬ will appoint up to 4 ‪#‎SupremeCourt‬ nominees. It is important to remember that these judges are the most enduring impact that a president has on the nation. All ‪#‎federal‬ ‪#‎judges‬ are lifetime appointments, not just those nominated for the Supreme Court. That means that 30 years after the president leaves office, he still has influence. Remember that one vote in the Supreme court can and has had an incredible impact on the nation. I trust Cruz more than the others.

5. His record in the Senate and in ‪#‎Texas‬ has been one of solid ‪#‎conservatism‬. I have had two disagreements with him on his votes and we have agreed to disagree on one and he has acknowledged that he was conflicted on the other. I will not bore you with details but neither was an issue that conflicted with my values.

6. He is an ‪#‎outdoorsman‬ who hunts and supports the ‪#‎2ndAmendment‬ to the fullest.

7. Every time I have asked for help on a ‪#‎military‬ issue, he has acted immediately including protecting ‪#‎religiousliberty‬ in the services. Many of the Senators run the other way on issues of religious liberty.

Final thoughts: While I like ‪#‎Rubio‬ and think that he will be the US POTUS one day, I think that he needs more time to distance himself from the ‪#‎Amnesty‬ issue that has defined him. He is a man of faith but he has taken a lot of money from hedge fund manager, Paul Singer. I will let you research that and discover what Singer is known for. And as for ‪#‎Trump‬, If he is the Republican candidate, I will support him.
