Kerik's Book - Lost Son

Anyone read this yet?? I picked it up from a friend and started reading it yesterday. I am more than half way through and a little surprised that he has done so much.
In the book he also stated that he trained guys at Bragg (you -know-who) in the martial arts and was working in the ME alongside some of these folks doing security. I never knew that. Can someone here tell me whether they ever heard of this before??
Being from NY myself, I am a huge fan of the NYPD. This is a good book if you like stories about someone making something of themselves out of nothing.
I think the guy would have been a good Homeland Security Director. I think the thing about his nenny was trite and trivial, and part of the reason I am sick of the damn media. Am I wrong??

Iraq was never lost and Afghanistan was never quite the easy good war. Those in the media too often pile on and follow the polls rather than offer independent analysis. Campaign rhetoric and politics are one thing - the responsibility of governance is quite another.
