Them was the days.....I remember getting to the 509th in Italy mid 70's (prior to being SF).
Got a bunk in the barracks and walked over to the NCO club.
A Mercedes's 280sl pulled into a parking slot and hit the curb, bounced up on the sidewalk then backed down again.
Two Old guys got out.
I asked a trooper...'who the hell is that'...he said..."Oh, that's the Bn Co and CSM, guess they've had a few"....
Didn't bat an eye....not abnormal.
Soldiers drink, raise hell, fight and then go to work.

Yes The Cellar for sure!! Also Rick's with TR, I was lucky to be at Bragg for one of their two last nights of pretty craziness!! Hellz YEAH!!
