DShK Mount

Does anyone have a powerpoint or know where I can find a illustrative example for mounting the DShK to the cradle to be mounted to a truck? I can't seem to find one and I don't have anything in my 18B harddrive from the school house. I'm trying to find out what the pin looks like that secures the rear of the DShK (near the backplate) to the mount. It's a little pin and I fear we've lost it here at the camp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey,

Many thanks on the help. It clarified a bunch. Basically, the old piece that resides on the cradle to allow the retaining bolt to go through has been lost/broken/etc whatever. I'm going to have one Pre-Fabbed to go in there as well as possibly look into a smaller retaining pin.

What are you going to do? Old Russian equipment that Jundie hasn't taken care of.

Thank you Jgood and mugwump for the manuals. I'll add them to my Bravo Harddrives.

Glad I could help.

When I was searching I was surprised to see how many folks were selling DShK cradles and pintles. "Technicals R Us"?

For those that never fired a DShK, remember when the washing machine went crazy when it was totally unbalanced?
Think of standing on top of that and listening to ACDC turned up full volume and your ears next to the speakers while firing the DShK....

The quad DShK is even more fun.

Buy in bulk? The school house had nice, "well maintained" ones. But the ones here were all probably battlefield recovery. Same with the weapons.

TS,
I haven't fired a "Unbalanced Washing Machine." I'd be more worried about others shooting it around me. Let's just say, we'll have the T&E locked on this bad boy.

Reaper,
Jealous.
