For some reason I can't get the link button to work on my iPad but this one is pretty funny.

ETA: Weird, it created the link anyway? Is this new or is it my iPad?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but outside of the US, Stella is considered crap beer. In the UK they call it wife beater because , well, you can probably figure out the reason why. I will give it to Stella though, they have some pretty cool commercials. It's just too bad the beer isn't as good as their commercials.

That it is popular here says a lot about the quality of domestic beers in a similar price range.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Like Guinness, Stella has been around for "hundreds" of years. You don't brew a crap beer and stay in business for hundreds of years.

I agree with you on that comment as far as Guinness goes. As for Stella, I think it's more indicative of the larger demographic of lower income consumers than the ability of Stella to produce a quality product.

Does Stella taste any better when imbibed from their cool glass?

Oh, God, sorry, I didn't mean to offend. Does Stella taste any better when imbibed from their cool CHALICE?

Does anyone have experience with this? Please advise, as I would LOVE to like Stella even a little bit. I could get some sweet selfies with a CHALICE full of beautifully colored Stella in a nice beer garden somewhere... "The look of liquid gold with the taste of liquid ass..."

I'm guessing it doesn't help much... You can polish all you want, but a turd is still a turd...

Great commercials, though.

Oddly enough Stella is known as "wife beater" in the UK. There is even a hip-hop song about it.

The stranger part is that in Canada, you pay a premium for it. Then again in Canada you pay a premium for any and all alcohol . . .

Not so odd. Probably from the play/movie A Streetcar Named Desire.
