Fort Bragg's future: Changes ahead for post

Fort Bragg's future: Changes ahead for post

http://www.fayobserver.com/news/loca...12fbbc057.html

"Sometime this summer, perhaps as early as this week, the Army will release a report detailing a wave of troop cuts likely to affect every Army community in the nation.

The cuts, spurred by a tightening defense budget, could lead to the loss of tens of thousands of soldiers......"

While this story is about Ft Bragg the report will impact most Army Posts.

This line "...Last year, then-Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel called for even deeper cuts to a force of 450,000 or, if sequestration cuts persist, a force of 420,000 by 2020..."

I don't see other parts of the ever increasing US budget taking hits like this.
