Forces Spéciales (movie)
This one surprised me. I put it my Netflix instant queue (under the title Special Forces) several years ago. The first time I started it I realized that it was about the French Army SF and had English subtitles. It was late and I didn't want to deal with reading them. I read some very positive reviews that pointed out that much of the dialog was in English, so I gave it a second chance. I have now watched it about 4 or 5 times, for a couple of reasons. First, the production values are excellent and second, it struck me as pretty damn authentic.
An FS recon team is sent to locate a female French journalist that has been kidnapped in Pakistan by the Taliban. A full team will follow for the rescue. And, as often happens behind the lines, the plan doesn't play out as drawn up and the small team has to rescue the hostages themselves. When the exfil is compromised and comms are lost they have no choice but to hike out...to Afghanistan.
My biggest complaints are that they seemed to have an unlimited amount of ammo and don't seem to worry about running out. Several of the guys have 203s that they apparently have no ammo for yet they continue to hump them. They could have spent some time on the survival aspects of surviving the cold while crossing the Hindu Kush. There's one more that is a plot hole but, if anyone watches the movie, it should be pretty obvious.
One very big problem with the Netflix stream is that the Closed Captioning is on whether you want it or not, so when there is music the image of a quarter note appears and they let you know when guns are firing, foreign languages are being spoken and women are screaming. I put my laptop in from of the screen and lifted the top just enough to block the CC.

ETA: If you watch the movie, stay with it past the end credits, there is one last scene.
