Thread of the Year

[ADDED BY RL:

OK, the categories have been decided. First category is "Best Thread of 2004." I will merge prior nominees into this thread, but you have a few days to add new nominees. Once nominations are closed, a poll thread will be posted to determine the winner.

Enjoy your research.

There's been a lot of posting this past year, lot of good threads and some that, well, you get the picture.

So, since it's the time of year for the "Best Of" shows, lets have one here. What is your favorite thread for 2004?

SF Band of Brothers
we aren't very good guessers here are we?

Survive!

My nomination for Best Thread is Survive! http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...ead.php?t=1540. Learned a lot from that one.

Thanks Gypsy! I am jumping up and down happy to be back from that trip.

My favorite threads are collectively in the Hall of Heroes and Briefback sections. Lots of examples of decision making under pressure and self-less acts, like the person (can't remember who now, but it's in either Above and Beyond or Attention to Orders) who threw himself on the grenade to keep a lot of others from being killed.

I'll second that! I also liked the Interesting SF Pics thread. Perhaps we can put together a gallery on the site where the pics can go for easy viewing. Hint Hint
