French tops and planchas are both accumulated heat functions that require time to get up to temp, upwards of 25-30 minutes. The open burners (or induction burners for example) balance that out by offering instant heat for a quick dish when you won't be preheating the French top or plancha.
Either way, the designs shown on our website are just design suggestions, all of our suite are custom designed and tailor made for each individual customer. Knowing that, it is easy to add to or take away from any of the designs that you wish to use as a starting point.
There is no published price list as each range we make is different in design.
