Surgical ripoff!
This is in the Comedy Zone only because it’s funny. It is absolutely true, though.
The husband of a Scottish friend of ours went in for triple bypass surgery last week. My wife called her today and asked her how he was doing. She said, “He’s doing fine, but we paid for 3 and only got two.” They did a double bypass instead of a triple.

I wonder how lawsuits work in a nationalized/socialist health-care system. This reminded me of a story I heard about a r etired airman who had surgery to remove a cancerous testicle. The surgeon removed the healthy one and left the bad one intact. Here's a few others

Ah...gotcha...though, I wonder if the Kali health-care system is similar to a nationalized one. When I lived in Australia, I met this awesome girl and told her she was the coolest and most beautiful Aussie I had met (up to that point). She informed me she was from Scotland and gave me that whole, "Are you serious?" look. She was good people. Loved her and her whole family. But, now...I have to poke some fun at those little scoots.

There's many things I'll try at least once, but that stuff? No, sir. Reminds me of a time my buddy was dating this girl and went to her family's for Thanksgiving. She's black. He's white - they met at Bragg. Her whole family is skeptical of him to begin with because he's of the deer hunting/conservative variety and they're not. He pulls up in his lifted Bronco and said he stuck out like s sore thumb next to all the ghetto sleds and their gold rims. At that point, he did his best to blend in and win the hearts and minds of her family. He kept smelling this god-awful stench permeating through the house. At dinner time, he realized what it was - chitlins.
Her grandmother plopped some on his plate and stared at him and waited for him to dig in. He choked down bite after bite and, as he gagged, his girlfriend said, 'Damn, Jason! I don't even eat that $hit!!!". I don't believe they dated much longer after that.

Thanks to the U.S. Government I managed to dodge that buffet. Her mother sent her a sheep’s stomach from Scotland for the grand feast. But, fortunately for me, Customs stopped it as offal. Awfully lucky, wasn’t I? She is a horrible cook anyway and the best thing about leaving L.A. is not having to have dinner at her house anymore. (What, no puking emoticon?)

"There's three kinds of chitlins: hand slung, stump whipped, and dog pulled."
You can eat all of the pig but the squeal.
Chitlins should be on the menu for Soul Food Night at Gitmo.

Honestly, I don't know how he did it. I couldn't even get him to eat sushi with me...but then again, I'm not exactly a female and I sure as hell am not gonna keep his fury ass warm at night...although, there was this one time on Silers Bald (Appalachian Trail) that the weather turned real cold and bad real fast and we snuggled. Whatever happens in the tent stays in the tent, right?
