Maybe now it is time that we stop kidding ourselves and admit that this problem isn't going away anytime soon. There is no live and let live with Islam.

A combo deal as I believe he was fired.
However, in his rage he had an easy outlet rather than work himself up to just 'commit murder' over being fired.
He could feed his anger AND commit an act of sanctioned Jihad by killing a Kafr in support of the Caliphate.

When a person is unstable to begin with and violently inclined having a 'belief' that certain types of killings are sanctioned makes for an easier path to violence.
It lets the perpetrator off the hook psychologically and in fact, gives them a rock to stand on. It is no longer murder, in his twisted mind, but now he is a holy Jihadi and if killed for the act a Shaheed.

The converts to Islam in our Federal prison system are huge...especially among the secure lockdown violent inmates....the religion appeals for the very reason above.

For the mentally unstable, the violently inclined, the socially disenfranchised and those seeking instant 'stardom' Islam offers a psychological prop to violent acts.

You will see more of this as ISIL is tech savvy and tweets, emails and sends vids of acts that encourage the above.

While it's true that a majority of the population in Kalifornia is forbidden from protecting themselves with a firearm, it is definitely not a gun free state as a whole. A majority of the inland and mountain counties, which make up most of the states geography, but are less densely populated are effectively shall issue in regards to CCW. These counties are full of pro 2nd amendment patriotic citizens that unfortunately cannot get their voices heard in Sacramento. The high density population zones of the Bay Area, Central Coast and SoCal counties which are overrun by liberal socialists control the electoral system and therefor Sacramento. That's why us folks up in FarNorCal keep trying to secede and create the State of Jefferson, and even though it probably won't ever happen, that's no reason to stop trying...

In the opinion of these gentlemen, one that I share. This is the work of the IS propaganda machine. From the man in Australia, the Pro IS rallies around the world, and the public beheading of a British soldier in England. These horrors have finally reached home. I understand their want to make this out to be something less severe. But this will only get worse, people need to be ready for what is going to come next.

It seems no one even talks about the fact that the Fort Hood killer was a Muslim anymore as well as the Boston Bombers... I wonder how many more times something like this has to happen before the left acknowledges it is the reality of Islam. The only liberal I have heard call it what it is was Bill Mahre, of all people, in his interview with Charlie Rose....only time I've agreed with him on anything.
